The Girl Behind the Camera
Hello!
My name is obviously Katie. I've always been interested in art, ever since I was big enough to hold crayons. When I was little my mom would buy me those throw away film cameras and I'd go around happily taking pictures of just whatever. I never really thought of photography as a career until a few years ago while discovering myself. Not only is it something I truly enjoy, I'd love to learn as much as I can about it and really do something with it. I want to make something out of myself, and I think I can do this with photography. I'm an amateur, so yes my pictures aren't that great, I am still learning.
I want people to feel something when they look at my pictures.

Favourite genre of music: Variety
MP3 player of choice: Zune 80GB
Favourite cartoon character: Spongebob!<3 & all the classics (like Mickey) of course. =]

I'm thinking about giving up on dA because the lack of feedback is downsizing all the time and things have really changed. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy receiving llamas and knowing when your birthdays are but that seems to be all I get anymore (with an exception of a few comments and :+fav:s). Also I don't really post as much work as I used to because my self confidence is trampled on, there isn't much left of it and I don't think any of my work is worth sharing. After years of taking pictures I don't feel I've improved at all, not even a tad. I haven't given up yet though, I'm in school right now to get my degree in photography so hopefully t
